  The 9-Year Certified Welding Inspectors License Renewal class by Son Sets Consultants Training is a convenient way to do your 80 Professional development Hours (PDH’s) all at once and on-line in the comfort of your own home or the slightly less comfortable computer at work. It’s also a lifesaver if, like me, you put off doing your PDH’s till the last minute. Rick Gaffney who runs Son Sets Consultants Training was great to deal with explaining what I needed to do and answering any questions I had either promptly by e-mail or with a quick phone call. He personally went above and beyond to help me out when it was crunch time for me. This is what all customer services should be like. The classes themselves are relatively easy to use with the occasional glitch and some repetitiveness, but overall they are very informative and relevant in the subject matter you should know. They are broken up into logical sections with most sections having a multiple choice practice test at the end. They are not a breeze (nor should they be) and you need to devote your full attention to them. Still, I’m convinced this is the easiest most cost effective way to get your PHD’s if time or travelling to various classes or lectures is an issue.
